| ARTISTIC STATEMENT
I live in Nottingham, England, and started working with metal in 1995. All of my sculptures interpret my emotinal life based on my traumatic childhood and adulthood of abuse and rape, I enjoy making physical the intangible emotions that are within, in metal. I feel that metal is such a mouldable and tactile component which solidifies my feelings and thoughts with its rawness and myriad of textures which are held within this medium. I hope that when you see and feel my work that you realise how beautiful metal can be. I hope in the future that I do many more sculptures depicting how I broke free from the legacy of my past. I have also done paintings based on the same subject matter as well as writing and publishing my autobiography. sculptures can be commissioned at a negotiable fee.
